Bring the Storms

Bring the storms, bring the rains

Bring the blizzards and hurricanes

I will tear through them like a lightning bolt

I will make them cease, make them halt

I am a blazing brilliance

I am an erratic existence

Bring the flames, bring the fire

Bring the tornados that have gone haywire

I will break through the gale and gust

I will diminish mountains to fine dust

I am a flaring ferocity

I am a lustrous luminosity

I do not fear the pain or sorrow

For I know that joy is tomorrow

I will win every battle and war

Readily awaiting more

I am a walloping warrior

I am a stubborn survivor

Hence, bring the wildest storms

Let the leaden clouds gather in swarms

Let the downpour cascade

Let the hail strike its blades

For I know that after the darkest night

Comes the brightest sunlight

I am a blissful believer

I am a dazzling dreamer

Writing: an Art That Allows Us to Put Our Thoughts into Words

My brain is a thinking machine that never shuts down. Thoughts are constantly swirling inside my head. I am always overthinking and overanalyzing the littlest things, and pondering questions. My mind is always buzzing and spinning with thoughts, ideas, emotions, scenarios, and conversations. And for that reason, I write. If I do not write everything down and sort out my thoughts and feelings, I feel as if I am drowning in my own thoughts. I feel as if I am choking on my own emotions. I feel as if my head will explode. In writing I find relief. I find peace. I find calmness and serenity. It is my escape.

So what exactly do I write? And what do I write about? Simply, everything and anything. I write everything from poems and short stories to deep quotes and streams of consciousness. I write about anything that crosses my mind. Things that bother me. Events that occur in my life. Or even controversial issues.

I have been writing for almost all my life. I have had this passion for writing for as long as I can remember. It is my favorite pastime, and I find true joy in it. However, I had previously never shared my writings with anyone. I had always kept them to myself. Recently I have decided that perhaps the time has come to share my writing with the world. And that is the reason I made this blog.
