Tender Soul

In a grim world of callous beings
With bitter hearts and cold feelings
A warmth wafted through the icy gale
Spreading kindness along its trail
I asked the wind, “What is this affection I sense in the air?”
It whispered, “’Tis a rare tender soul full of love and care.”

In a vile society of greedy scoundrels
Manipulation, hypocrisy, and betrayals
A light blazed across the somber skies
Like a refuge of protection from the frauds and lies
I asked the moon, “What is this loyalty that pierces the darkness?”
It murmured, “’Tis a precious tender soul with trustworthiness.”

The universe speaks of your compassion
The stars glow with your passion
The Earth tells about your reliability
The mountains stand with your durability
Oh tender soul, if only you knew
Your value and greatness, how they are true
